Here at Aquatread Canine Hydrotherapy we offer treatments for pre and post surgical procedures, ongoing medical conditions, arthritis & general fitness or fun.
We will work closely with you, your dog & vet to obtain the best possible results.
Aquatread Canine Hydrotherapy is an underwater treadmill facility. Hydrotherapy is a recognised form of rehabilitation to support & improve recovery following surgery or injury. Controlled exercise utilising the therapeutic properties of warm water is extremely beneficial for joint/muscular conditions, improving joint range of movement, easing stiffness, building muscle/strength & re-educating gait.
Our hydrotherapist is fully trained holding a level 3 diploma certificate, a level 4 certificate in small animal hydrotherapy, including advanced underwater treadmill training/techniques and massage with canine hydrotherapy.
Our facility and hydrotherapist are fully insured and registered with NARCH, an accreditation recognised by pet insurance companies.

Hydrotherapy
Hydrotherapy is proven to speed recovery after operations or slow the progression of degenerative conditions. It may be used as a pre-operative fitness regime to allow a dog to maintain condition before an operation. When used after surgery or injury Hydrotherapy can aid the patient to a faster recovery
Physiotherapy
Physiotherapy is available at Aquatread Canine Hydrotherapy. We work closely with 2 APCAT Physiotherapists in the area. We can arrange a Physiotherapy home visit or clinics are available on site. Combined Hydrotherapy & Physiotherapy appointments can also be arranged on site.
