Physiotherapy – Restore Function, Improve Movement and Maintain Mobility.
Physiotherapy is available at Aquatread Canine Hydrotherapy. We work closely with 2 APCAT Physiotherapists in the area.
We can arrange a Physiotherapy home visit or clinics are available on site. Combined Hydrotherapy & Physiotherapy appointments can also be arranged on site.
Pets respond well to physiotherapy treatment to help restore function, improve movement and maintain mobility. A combined Hydrotherapy & Physiotherapy approach will help speed up the recovery process for your pet.
Physiotherapy can be used to treat a range of issues, from joint conditions and muscle injuries to rehabilitation after surgery. It can also be used to help with age related changes and is a very good form of therapy to slow down the effects of getting older for as long as possible.
Laser therapy can also be arranged through one of our registered Physiotherapists.
Laser therapy for dogs can help in many cases by promoting healing and reducing inflammation and pain:
- Wound healing
- Increasing the metabolism of specific tissues
- Reducing the formation of scar tissue
- Reducing joint pain
- Improving nerve function and nerve regeneration
- Releasing of painful trigger points
